Clinics

Clinics are available to learn basic equine massage. This instruction is particularly good for hands-on stables, where the riders/horse owners are responsible for the care of their horses. In a typical clinic, students will learn:

Muscles

Basic equine anatomy
Major muscles of the most commonly sore areas
Several massage strokes, including safety holds
Simple massage sequence
Application and benefits of equine massage

A clinic combines classroom learning with hands-on experience. A maximum of 12 students can be accommodated, and half as many horses as students are required. A clinic typically lasts about 2 ½ hours.
